This is a replacement for the Chevrolet Bolt Cargo Hook located in the rear storage / luggage area. The factory hooks are prone to breaking when too much stress is placed on them. The official GM name for this part is “Lower corner trim cover” and it’s part number is 42482234 (gray) or 42482233 (black). Here is a 3D printed replacement. Pictures show what it looks like compared to a standard factory piece. The size is 1.4″ in diameter. Due to the nature of the printing process, there might be variations in color which in no way affect the strength of the item.
The video above shows how to remove the hook from the car. To replace just line up the tabs and rotate counter clockwise until it “clicks”. It is available in both black and gray. Neither color really matches the car interior color though it is close. If you are looking for an exact color match, it is best to buy directly from GM.
